JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assisting in the development and execution of weekly and monthly production plans for multiple plants. Placing orders on assigned plants, and/or directing the work group that is responsible for this task. The accurate deployment of inventory to the DSC's to meet customer demand. Analyzing various material management reports to ensure customer service. Create and manage finite schedule for assigned areas of responsibility, and/or influence the work group that is assigned to do this task. Manage raw materials as part of finite scheduling. Manage and control raw material inventory turns at the site. Develop, implement and monitor raw material inventory control strategy. Analyze vendor performance data and take corrective action. Evaluate and select suppliers and determine freight carriers within Divisional guidelines. Analyze purchase price variance and recommend changes to Divisional Purchasing Managers to meet established factory standards. Monitor inventory on consignment and coordinate other raw materials on SOI (Supplier Owned Inventory) or SOMI (Supplier Owned & Managed Inventory). Develop and manage direct reports and determine and implement strategies that are employed in Area Supply Chain to achieve optimal levels of performance for both finished good, and raw material management.
