          Job Details:
          The Executive Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, direction and communication of all aspects of ANI clinical integration, medical management programs, quality and process measures, and technology solutions that support programs or other clinically related tools, to ensure ANI accomplishes its goals and objectives as established, and as aligned with theTriple Aimobjectives, by the ANI Board of Directors. This position will work in a shared leadership structure with the ANI Director of Contract Management to yield better decision-making and greater efficiencies as it relates to ANI provider members and payor contracts execution.Knowledge of health care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D. or D.O.), with a minimum of 10 years professional experience. A minimum of five years Health Plan experience including population health management preferred.Must be certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, or the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. A minimum of two or more years of progressively responsible health care management/ population health management experience necessary to enhance and develop skills, including experience in managed care contracting and medical staff relations. Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to make tough decisions, as well as the ability to influence and energize staff and ANI provider members and entities.Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, includingwritten and verbal communication skills.Possesses excellent internal management skills evidenced by exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, organization, and time management.Possesses a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the managed care environment/conditions/trends, value-based payor contracts, health insurance industry, provider networks and associated legal issues.Possesses a strong understanding of finance and health care reimbursement.Possesses strong analytical and presentation skills.Functions well under pressure and is an expert at managing multiple priorities.
