Business Analyst Team Leader - 8163-en_US DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Requisition #: 8163 Functional Area: Business Analysis; Leadership Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Neenah, WI, US Work Options: Work at Position location specified above only Division: Corporate Marketing FLSA Status: Exempt Work Hours: Standard Business hours Travel Requirement: Up to 10% Position Summary The purpose of this position is to work with business stakeholders to identify and understand the core business objectives, analyze inefficient processes and recommend solutions that support and advance those objectives and improve productivity. This position is a lead resource in the area for the Continuous Improvement/Lean Program and also contributes to corporate-wide support of continuous improvement initiatives. As a Team Leader, this position is also responsible for leading a team of Business Analyst to ensure internal/external customer/client service expectations are fulfilled. The focus of this position is working with J. J. Keller's sales and marketing teams and systems. Job Responsibilities * Serves as a point person in the area for the identification and evaluation of process improvement opportunities. Applies lean and other tools to recommend solutions. Coordinates activities and maintains on-going communication with management, Information Technology, end users, and other departments. * Defines system project requirements, final solutions, and interfaces. * Coordinates decisions based on business requirements, system functionality, and "best business practices." * Facilitates timely and thorough system testing for new system implementations and system updates/upgrades. * Troubleshoots system errors and performance problems so that business needs are met on a timely basis. * Assists with maintaining system security profiles and coordinates end-user access. * Takes a leadership role in Continuous Improvement activities, such as Lean and Design Thinking, to improve processes in his/her area, including: Promotes continuous improvement in his/her area and throughout the company to drive activity and awareness, to include maintaining K-LINE and SharePoint sites. Develops and delivers educational/awareness programs at the corporate and departmental level. Coordinates company requests for continuous improvement events and assigns facilitators. Facilitates continuous improvement events for any area of the company, as assigned. Tracks and documents initiatives and results achieved. * Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities: Successful completion and delivery of key corporate systems initiatives (on-time and sponsor/stakeholder satisfaction) Lead or participate in 4+ departmental continuous improvement projects Identify, measure and track key efficiency metrics (dollars, time, etc.) related to key projects Associate retention J. Experience: * 5+ years' experience working with software applications related to sales and/or marketing systems. * 3+ years of system/process analysis experience. * Prior project leadership experience with experience leading large cross functional teams. * Experience with an ERP system required, preferably SAP. Computer Skills: * Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. * Knowledge of software applications related to area of responsibility, preferably SAP. * SAP implementation and configuration experience a plus. Other Skills/Qualifications: * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Strong technical aptitudes. * Ability to facilitate project teams and work with all levels within the company. Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
