JOB REQUIREMENTS: Quartz is looking for an innovative and improvement-focused individual to lead our IT Services & Support (ITSS) team. This role will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing ITSS process improvements based on industry best practices. The Manager, ITSS also provides daily support to staff members with the primary goal of ensuring that end users have access to effective and efficient IT tools and service. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily responsibilities of ITSS department staff who are responsible for supporting the technology needs and troubleshooting for end users across the entire organization. Develop and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to establish incident resolution expectations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor service performance. Identify opportunities for improvement to develop and deliver solutions that enhance the quality of service and prevent incident recurrence. Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development and support of all end-user hardware and software. Assist departmental leadership in developing the budgets and implementation schedules for ITSS and end-user infrastructure. Serve on project teams, liaise with vendors for procurement of new systems and technologies, oversee installations and lead efforts for corporate adoption. Create, implement, maintain and enforce ITSS policies and procedures. Conduct research on emerging products, services and standards and implement as appropriate. Previous work experience in a technical support role. Familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices. Strong knowledge of personal computers and supporting common business software applications. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and apply analytical thinking skills. Effective communication skills, with a focus on active listening, questioning and working with internal and external parties. Ability to understand and communicate technical issues with technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization.
