          John Crane – Engineered Bearings Operations Manager   John Crane is a Global
          Leader in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals, couplings, seal
          support systems, filters and hydro-dynamic bearings. Working for John Crane -
          Engineered Bearings, based in Grafton WI, you will support the strategic
          growth and integration through planning and development of the manufacturing
          function for the Grafton Engineered Bearings business.   BASIC FUNCTION: Build
          and develop the operations organization through establishing initiatives, and
          directing a team of functional managers and supervisors in Grafton, WI.   The
          Operations Manager will also need to ensure increasing levels of customer and
          employee satisfaction while improving the environmental health & safety (EHS)
          and efficiency of manpower, materials and machines.  This will need to be
          completed while maintaining world class levels of quality.   PRIMARY DUTIES:
          Establish strategic direction in the areas of quality, purchasing, cost
          reduction, EHS, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and
          plant performance measures, and assist with meeting on-time delivery
          deadlines. Provide leadership for employee relations through effective
          communications, coaching, training, and development. Provide leadership for
          problem resolution to facilitate operation improvements. Manage the planning
          and purchasing function for material requirements to increase inventory turns
          and reduce levels on hand. Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost
          control, waste reduction, OSHA, EHS, and complete and on-time delivery at the
          highest quality and lowest possible cost. Liaise with John Crane America’s
          Operation Management on projects and input to strategic initiatives. Balance
          capacity/loading across the plant to ensure the best market lead times.
          Determine operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with Company
          policies. Identify, communicate and drive implementation of capital
          investments and continual improvement projects. Responsible for facility
          maintenance and security. Perform other related duties as assigned.   MINIMUM
          REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: Four year bachelor’s degree (preferably in
          Management or Engineering) from an accredited university. Minimum of 10 years
          of operations management experience (or related leadership experience) in a
          high precision, high-tech, small lot size, tight tolerance machining
          environment. Familiarity and Management Experience with:  ISO9001:2008 &
          ISO14001/OSHAS18001 systems certifications and audits. Able to work in the
          Grafton, WI facility full time. Proven ability to lead people and get results
          through others. Ability to train and motivate employees. Ability to think
          ahead and plan over a 6-12 month time span. Must have very strong
          interpersonal skills (written and oral) to successfully work with all types of
          employees. Excellent project and program management skills. Technical skills
          in Kaizen and/or Lean Manufacturing techniques, process improvement, materials
          management and production capacity planning/scheduling.   PREFERRED
          REQUIREMENTS: Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Lean Certification. Previous
          experience managing/leading a multi-shift team. Experience presenting and
          negotiating with customers, employees and other stakeholders. Ability to read
          and interpret drawings and specifications. Common sense approach to production
          problems and ability to implement change when necessary. Ability to manage
          multiple priorities accurately, effectively and efficiently. Proficiency in
          leading cross-functional teams . Ability to effectively manage multiple
          projects, tasks and /or customers while adhering to strict deadlines and
          commitments. Ability to make solid decisions and recommendations in a rapid
          paced, forward evolving environment.      We offer a competitive salary
